Thrawn's Revenge is a mod for Star Wars: Empire at War. Play as the New Republic, Imperial Remnant, Pentastar Alignment or the Empire of the Hand in 5 new eras of Star Wars. It could mean that: 1. It skipped files to be downloaded during the installation 2. The game disc is scratched or smudged 3. The data got corrupted somehow.

Star Wars Empire At War PcEmpire At War Star WarsI have seen a few people say they still had the exception error with the Steam version, but it always seemed the majority never talked about it.Makes me think. An exception error can occur for many reason, only one of which is the issue with Forces of Corruption and ram. The Steam version has the RAM patch, and what do you mean by 'incompatible program'? Originally posted by:Hmm, alright then, good chance I'll buy the Gold Pack then, just finished the Rebel Campaign anyway haha.As for their 'incompatable' issue, maybe it is a Windows 8 thing? I mean, hell, that OS was been meh quality for a bit; maybe it could be as simple as selecting Windows 8 for compatability mode?Oh, that's what you mean. They probably have that listed because it is a known issue that tons of Win8 uses cannot run the game, even with compatiblity mode. But it has been established by people here on the forums that it runs perfectly fine on Win8, it therefore has something to do with User Settings or Programs (firewalls, antiviral/malware etc.) interefering with it.
